Welcome back for another edition of The 10 Best Games to See in Ohio. As we get midway through the regular season, conference play has begun and the playoff picture is starting to develop. Last week, we had seven of the ten featured games decided by 10 points or less. Let’s hope we can improve on that.
Welcome back, y’all! Most teams are getting into their conference play, and we’re starting to see teams develop and grow from the first week of the season.
For the first three weeks, I use teams win-loss record from last season as a factor to decide which games to pick so this is the first time this year that this year’s win-loss count has been factored.

As we dive into the third installment of the Heart of Ohio Sports Prep Pigskin Preview. One thing that I want to point out is how many great coaches that we have in the Buckeye State. When researching these teams, I've found that there's a lot of ways to come into a head coaching position, and every community finds the right coach for them in different ways, but when the right coach meets the right community some real magic can happen.

So, I dialed back competitiveness to 33.3% with rankings, combined wins, and top recruits to 22.2% each. We’ll see how this week turns out. My sources for the data and information used to compile the game list is JoeEitel.com, fantastic50.net, 247sports.com, and maxpreps.com along with individual school or league websites. Also, the honorable mention for the state games will now be one game per district to try to feature at least one game from each district in the state.
