My apologies for getting this article out a few hours later than usual. The first three weeks of the season, I use some metrics from last season’s teams until enough data has built up to properly judge this year’s version of each respective school’s team. Starting this week, that switches and there’s a lot of work that goes into that switch. That being said, next week may come out on Tuesday as well, but then it will be back to the regular Monday publishing.

I wanted to let the reader know that over the last couple seasons that I’ve wrestled with how to properly rank out-of-state opponents for matchups. I’ve also wrestled with ranking them in the top five of the state or just keeping them as honorable mention.

The Seneca East Tigers and the Crestview Cougars duked it out in a defensive fight that’s only score was safety by the Tigers early in the fourth quarter. It was enough to win the game, 2-0.
