Alright we are back and better than ever coming off a 2-3 week which is not the best, but we are looking to bounce back with my 5 best bets of week 6. My two wins last week were the 49ers who busted up the terrible Panthers, and the Titans who beat the awful Commanders who tried and succeeded to lose that game. My losses were some ugly losses with the Eagles scrapping by the Cardinals who choked and game tying kick, the Lions looked exactly like the Lions of previous years and were allergic to the end zone, and Chiefs somehow made the awful Raiders look somewhat competitive. On the other hand we're poised and ready for a fresh slate, and ready to win all 5 of my bets.
New England Patriots @ Cleveland Browns o43.5
So my thought process going into this is that the Browns can practically score at will against most teams, and I do believe that the Patriots are one of those teams. The Patriots are giving up upwards of 128 yards per game on the ground where the Browns are averaging 192 yards per game on the ground which is not a good sign for the Patriots defense. The Browns offense does seem competent unless it's in the last drive of the game where they get too cute, and just shit down their legs. On the other hand the Browns defense is an absolute shit show, and unfortunately for Browns fans like myself we are going to be stuck with this till for the rest of the season. The Patriots offense isn't the Chargers I will say that, but they're no slouches. Yes they're starting a rookie QB in Bailey Zappe who last week went 17/21 for 188 yards 1 touchdown and 1 interception. On the ground the Pats had 35 rushes for 176 yards, and absolutely dominated the Lions defense. The Browns defense is all time bad giving 364 yards per game 226 through the air and 138 on the ground. With that being said there won't be much defense played this week so hammer that over.
New York Jets +7 @ Green Bay Packers
Alright so this is one is a real brain tickler here because if you look at it, and don't think you'd think Packers for sure, but the Packers are still figuring it out and the Jets could be a real team. Also the Packers have only beat one team by more than 7 points and that was week 2 against the Bears who are one of the worst teams in the league. Now this is also set up for one of those games where Aaron Rodgers reminds you he's a back-to-back MVP. It has to be a gut pick in this game so with how many points the Jets are able to score, and the facts it's a touchdown spread here take the points and ride with the Jets.
Minnesota Vikings -3.5 @ Miami Dolphins
This is a simple bet here so do not over think it. You have 1pm Kirk Cousins who is remarkably good going against the Dolphins who are giving up 400 yards of offense per game so this one could get ugly quickly. On the other side of the ball the Dolphins are stuck with Skylar Thompson who looked not so great last week now this Vikings defense isn't the best I think they'll be able to handle a 3rd string qb. Let's not overthink think one its going to be a heavy dose of Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Adam Thielen. This game could be ugly like last week, but lay points and ride with 1pm Kirk who could very well be a top 7 qb if he never had to play in primetime.
Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs o53.5
I mean come on do I need to explain this one? These are two of the best offenses in the league with very competent defenses, but I just don't think that these defenses will be able to slow down either offense. Each team is averaging over 30 points per game, and I think that will show Sunday afternoon. This is one of those games where true football fans will push everything to the side just to watch what could be a game for the ages. The best part about this game is the fact that each opposing defenses are very stout against the run both giving up less than 85 yards per game so this will be a true quarterback battle between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. Bet the over sit back crack open a cold beer, and just love and enjoy every single second of this game.
Carolina Panthers @ Los Angles Rams u42
This is like clockwork right here, but don't let that fool you. This is most definitely a "get right" game for the Rams where they will definitely be using this game to bounce back after two straight losses. The Panthers are the biggest shit show in the league after just firing head coach Matt Rhule, and possibly being without Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold still on injured reserved. They could be going to the third string quarterback Pj Walker who in his career has a 57% completion percentage 2 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. I know after what I just said the under may sound a little crazy, but the Rams will get their points, and the Panthers may not even get close to a touchdown.
